Holiday Bread Seasoning

T’is the season-ing! This wonderful combination of spices brings about visions of low-carb sugarplums. Perfect for that extra hint of holiday magic!

• 2 tbsp ground cloves

• 1½ tbsp ground bitter orange peel

• 1 tbsp fennel seeds

• 2 tsp anise seeds

• 2 tsp ground cardamom (green)


1. Mix together the ingredients well and store in a dark and cool place, in a small container.

2. If you know that you won’t be using the seasoning until the next holiday season, keep the container in the freezer. Or make an extra large batch and give away as gifts.


The seasoning goes great with our holiday bread, seed crackers, and low-carb bread.
